Say Hello to the World! - If you wanted to say hello to everybody in the world, how many people would that be? And how many languages would you have to learn? You would have to learn at least 2,796 languages and say hello to 5,720,000,000 people! Here's a site that will tell you how to say "hello" in each of those languages.

Interactive On-line Stories in Spanish- Features interactive online stories in Spanish. These "cuentos" help Spanish-speaking children enrolled in bilingual education programs enhance their first-language reading comprehension skills.Webspañol -provides language resources for the beginner. There is a Spanish test, Spanish idioms with English equivalents, help with irregular verbs, an audio pronounciation guide, Spanish riddles, and other Spanish language links. Webspañol provides several resources for interactivity including an email Penpal Exchange, a bulletin board to post questions & comments about Spanish language study.
Espanol Speakeazy - Espanol Speakeazy is designed to help teach language basics so you can speak Spanish and "break the language barrier." The site is designed with three levels: novice, intermediate, and advanced. Each section is divided into subject areas such as art and literature. Start by learning to pronounce single words and end by speaking whole sentences. Real Audio files let you hear the words to help you with correct pronunciation.

Premiers Pas Sur Internet - Students of French of all ages will enjoy this all-French site intended for children. On the homepage, you'll find illustrated stories under the heading "Histoires inédites." The button Comptine brings you hundreds of poems and songs divided into quite specific categories (elephants, farm animals, water, and so forth). Under Fantastique you'll find horror and science fiction; under Voyages there are virtual trips to French-speaking locations around the world.
