PRISM-
Pioneering Resource in the State of Maine
An Incredible Opportunity from the Libra Foundation....
Acadia University is pleased to be working
with the Maine Learning Teaching Initiative this coming summer to offer
schools from the state of Maine an opportunity to come to the beautiful
Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia, for a week long technology training program
in July. The PRISM (Pioneering
Resource in the State of Maine) began last summer and will bring teams
to the Acadia University campus to work on a technology integration project
of their choice. School teams will identify a community based website
project that can be used to help students achieve curricular outcomes
and enhance classroom teaching.
On the program website: http://aitt.acadiau.ca/prism
you will find a description of our program and its elements, an application
form, important dates, eligibility for school participation, curricular
focus, and
objectives, as well as accommodation information and tourist information.
Teams will have until Friday, May 30, 2003 to apply and will be notified of their acceptance in early June. All expenses paid!
If you have any questions about the program, please email Judy Noel Walsh, Project Manager at judy.noel.walsh@acadiau.ca
