The following resources are divided into General Science, which covers a wide array of topic areas, and then into specific areas of science. Each is then separated into Interactive Sites which rely on technology to fuel the lesson and resources, which may or may not be interactive, but are usually a great find either way.

scirus.com just searches science documents.

Interactive Games

Weekly Reader.com
Go here to find a great science trivia section. The questions are similar to the content on the MEA. Great brain teaser. One use would be to have the teacher take the quiz, get a score, and see if students can beat the teacher's score.

Great Resources- Some interactive, some just great lessons.

Frank Potter's Science Gems-An excellent site on a variety of science topics.Check out the WebQuest section!

Each lesson plan has the same general format with one or more links to WWW resources that are to be incorporated into the activities as suggested.

MCCPTA - On-Line Resources for Science (K-5) The following WWW sites are a compilation of sites that directly relate to science subjects, lesson plans, and curriculum topics, with the majority selected primarily for the K-5 grade subjects. There are lesson plans or curriculum units on science topics that were intended for the 6-12 grades at these same sites, and a number of higher grade sites under the Environmental sciences area. There is an amazing amount of information to be found here. It is well worth taking a look!
