I never knew how much friendship was so important in life. Friendship has lots of different meanings but reading P.S. Longer, Letter Later really made me realize how have good friendship and best friends are important. The only thing I really knew about the book was that is was about best friends dealing with there problems. But I wasn't expecting to learn and read about all these different things.
 This wonderful book takes place mostly in California. It also takes place in another part of California where one of the girls has to move to.
 The characters that are in this book are very interesting in all kinds of different ways. The two main characters are Elizabeth. She is sorta like the spine of the friendship. She always makes sure that both of them do not get in any trouble, or make sure Tara-Star (the other main character) isn't mad or upset at things. Tara-Star on the other hand is sorta the fun one of the friendship. She is very caring but is wild, and I guess that is what ELizabeth likes best about Tara-Star.
 The different conflicts that uprised during their friendship sorta kept me reading more and more. There wasn't a lot of fights between them but now and then they would have little fights but nothing big. I thought that that made the book more interesting then a loving friendship that everything is perfect.
 Another book that is related to this book very much is its sequel Snail Mail No More. They are related because it is talking about ELizabeth and Tara-Star when they are older and about their friendship if it has changed or has stayed the same.
 Now I now know a lot more about how friendship is important in life. Paula Danziger obvisouly knows that it is very important also.
