One Day the cheerful
little girl was called to her moms room.
“Today I want you
to bring some cookies to your grandmother,” explained Suzi’s mother.
“Sure thing momma!”
yelped little Suzi.
Suzi left her mom’s
room and got dressed into her flashy red bell bottoms and her red, flowery
hooded sweatshirt. She then skipped into the kitchen and grabbed the basket
of cookies. After all these delays, she was finally off into the deep dark
forest to her grandmothers house. Once she was in the forest she saw a
green bush shake. Suzi walked over to the bush but saw nothing in sight,
so she walked on to her destination. A little further she went and saw
a blurred figure scurry across the long and somewhat peaceful path.
But once again there was nothing in sight.
While walking Suzi
was getting very tired, and she just started day dreaming. She was day
dreaming about the same thing she always does. About the one day her parents
will get back together, and come out of their divorce, even though she
knew it would not come true. But its only a dream, right!?
“Hello... anyone
there?” questioned Suzi.
There, behind a tree
was a wolf. He was a pretty tall one with a red cap and brown slacks.
“H...Hi, how are
you?” stuttered little Suzi
The wolf didn’t answer.
He looked up at her and then ran away. She was just a little confused,
but walked on because she needed to get to her grandmother’s soon.
“Ahhh finally I have
arrived to Grandmother Peggy's house,” sighed Suzi
Creek went the door
as she opened it very slowly.
“Hello... Grandmother
Peggy? Are you there?” shouted Little Suzi
She walked all through
the house without finding her, but then she finally went into her bedroom
and found her at last!
“Come in my dear,”
calmly said her grandmother.
Suzi walked in slowly
putting the cookies down on her table.
“I brought you some
cookies my mother made for you.”
Suzi walked right
over to her bed and starred at her. She looked a little different then
usual.
“O, what big eyes
you have grandma,” exclaimed Suzi
“The better to see
you with my darling,” slyly replied Grandmother Peggy.
“What big ears you
have”
“The better to hear
you with Suzi!”
By then Suzi was
feeling alittle weird and did not know that there was something alittle
different about her Grandmother.
“What big teeth you
have Peggy!” yelled Suzi
“Well the better
to eat those COOKIES with my dear!”
O was she relieved
that there was nothing wrong because little Suzi most definitely thought
that she was going to say something else!!
