Book Review

Nancy Drew
The Mysterious Mannequin

If you ever wanted to know how being chased by criminals, flying over seas in a two day notice and trying to solve a mystery all at once feels like?  You can just read Nancy Drew and the Mysterious Mannequin and find out.  I decided to read this book because I read many Nancy Drew books and I haven’t read that one yet.  I also read the inside summary about the book and I really wanted to find out where the mannequin was.
My favorite parts are the action scenes when Nancy is being chased by the criminals because she is so quick and she always manages to get out of trouble.  You always thinks she is going to get caught because she gets so close to the trouble, sometimes she gets caught or kidnapped but she always escapes.
I also like how the author keeps the personality for each character in each book.  Bess is always watching her diet and is always uneasy about big adventures.  Put it this way she is a worry wart.  George is the daring athletic kind who agrees to go on any adventure with Nancy.  Nancy will do anything to help someone no matter how dangerous her mission is.  That's why I like Nancy the best.
The suspense in the story is great too.  You never know what will happen next in the story.  New findings, happenings, and adventures are happening all the time, 24-7.  I think this Nancy Drew book out of all of them I read has the most suspense.  Especially with the rug the have to search for words and when Nancy tries to find the mannequin.
Those are the major reason why I like this book.  Of course I would like to tell the ending but I don’t want to spoil it.  I advise you to pick up this book and start reading it and if you have never read any of the Nancy Drew books you should.
