<> Never express yourself more clearly than you are able to think.

-- I think that this quote relates well to Nancy Drew and her detective
friends because they know not to say anything about someone to others unless they get full proof that they are certain of that person being the criminal. Such as in the book The Clue of the Dancing puppet, they had a strong feeling about the criminal being Tammi Whitlock but knew not to tell any often police officers or other detectives unless they had found more information about her.

<> The most difficult thing in the world is to know how to do something andto watch somebody else doing it wrong, without comment.

-- Whenever Nancy is trying to solve a mystery she always knows what she is doing. When the criminal is trying to get out of the distance between  Nancy and themselves they always end up running into them at the end (in other words getting caught). This has happened in practically every Nancy Drew book that I have read. In the book they are either trying to change their appearance doing something or going somewhere that the criminal would not expect Nancy to follow them to and actually getting themselves caught in that action.

<> The important thing is never to stop questioning.

-- Nancy Drew always has questions to ask. She would never give up the chance to question a suspect, to at least try and get some information out of them. It always seems that she never runs out of questions to ask her suspects. It doesn't matter what time of day it is she always seems to have a question.Well, that is unless she has already found the criminal, which she always does especially when she keeps throwing those questions at them.

<> If you want to make enemies, try to change something.

-- Nancy is always trying to make the thieves or criminals do things
differently. That is usually why that those people (thieves or criminals)
don't like Nancy in the end, and because they got caught so that kind
of leads to the disliking of Nancy Drew too. She usually tries to have them
consider doing something different but in the end they don't like agreeing
with her and then Nancy sends them off to jail, where that they can think of
what they did for a while.

<> I haven't failed, I've found 10,000 ways that don't work.

-- Nancy is just like any other detective she never gives up. Nancy is a
different kind of detective I think. She would go day and night just to find
something she can hardly sleep at times because she wants to find out who
the criminal could be. This is a good thing because she will most definitely
find it sooner, but she sometimes take a while to find the best way to look
for the clues (seeing how that every mystery is different). She just never
gives up, and that is something that I think these books do is teach people
the lesson to never give up just keep trying, because you have never failed
unless you give in. In the end she always ends up with the right person
(persons) just at the right time.

<> There is no "I" in TEAM.

-- Whenever Nancy has a mystery to solve she never takes all the credit. She
is usually trying to solve it with her friends Bess and George. They usually
get credit for it too. I know that Nancy is a great detective but she never
does it on her own. There is always some officer, her dad, or friends to
help her out. The credit is always given out equally even if she has done
more work then the others.
