“Well, what shall we do today?” my friend bill the bulldog asked.
“I know,” I said, “let’s go spy on my owner”.
“Good idea”, Sammy told, “but I don't think we should all go. Just
you seeing that you are his dog, and you can strap this walky talky to
your collar so we can hear you.”
“Sounds Good”, I replied.
As I walked in to the room I couldn’t help myself from barking. There
were some masks on the wall and it really felt errie in there. I wasn’t
hungry anymore. “Woof, woof”, I exclaimed.
“Is everything okay in there?, asked Sammy.
“Oh, yes everything is fine”, I answered. “Its just sorta spooky in here.”
Typing away my owner turned to me and said, “Its okay Nadine, its
okay settle down girl. They’re only masks.”
My owner was typing away vigorously as more ideas came to his mind.
He was a serious looking man with a tense look on his face and glasses.
But laughs a lot too.
“Wow”, I exclaimed. “There must be over 100 books in here, and they are
all by the same person”, I spoke in to the walky talky.
“Well, it sounds as if your owner is a writer. Pick up a book and
see what it says.”
“Okay”
“Lets see, um... okay I’ve picked out a book. Its called The Baby-sitter
3,” I announced.
“Okay read something from it.”
“Okay here goes.....
“Her heart pounding , the howls piercing through the room, Debra held
onto the door frame to steady herself. Its here in the house, she realized
, gripped with fear. It- Its up stairs! She realized she was holding
her breath. She let it out slowly and gasped in another one.
As another wail rang, she suddenly....."
“Wow sounds freaky”, Sammy replied.
“I know it does. I don't think I really want to be in here anymore”,
I decided.
“I know what you mean, come on out. That’s enough spying for today.”
I gave back the walky talky and then said good bye.
“See ya tommorow Nadine,” Sammy called while leaving.
“Okay, bye”.
