Dear Parents and Guardians,

I hope this letter finds you well. Here are some updates and highlights for November. We have been focusing on building strong classroom communities and setting expectations for the year. Below are some important dates and useful links for your reference.

Attendance:

Thank you for your commitment to your child's regular school attendance. Consistent routines, sleep schedules, and limitations on the use of technology are so important for learning and well-being. We appreciate your effort to get your child to school ready to learn.

Please maintain your child's attendance throughout the winter season. Coming to school helps your child build relationships, learn, and feel safe. Here is a link to the school calendar. If your child must miss school for a pre-planned absence of two or more days, please complete this form and give it to Ms. Berube or Ms. Taylor in the main office.

Reminder of upcoming breaks:

• NO SCHOOL Tuesday, November 11, in observance of Veterans Day
• NO SCHOOL Wednesday, November 26 - Friday, November 28. We return on Monday, December 1.
• NO SCHOOL from Monday, December 22, to Friday, January 2. We return on Monday, January 5.

• Thursday, November 13, Make It Happen High School information sessions for 8th-grade multilingual students
• Friday, November 21,  Families For Moore Free Movie Night & Bake Sale 3:00-5:30 late bus provided
• Tuesday, November 25 - End of T1 / Grades close
